Fall is the moment for Cranes (Grus Grus) to fly South from their breeding grounds in Scandinavia, Central Europe and the Baltic towards their wintering areas in France, Spain and North Africa. They stop and rest in locations like the moors around Diepholz in Germany. A perfect opportunity to observe these gracious birds.
Autumn colours during a misty morning in the Speulder- en Sprielder forest in the Veluwe nature reserve in The Netherlands. First rays of sunlight are shining through the foliage giving the forest a mystical atmosphere.
One of my favourite local areas for landscape photography is the Hulshorsterzand and Leuvenum forest in the Veluwe nature reserve. The diversity of the landscape makes sure you'll always see new interesting spots to shoot during the different seasons.
Brittany, the coastal region in the North West of France proved to be a surprising diverse location for landscape photography this summer. Rugged coastline clips, sand beaches and pink granite rocks as far as they eye can see.
Northern lights over the Lofoten and Vesterålen islands in Norther Norway. Although I experienced this phenomenon a couple of times now it is still amazing to see the Northern Lights dance in the night sky above. Especially when you have an interesting landscape in front of you to complete the picture.
