A trip to Istanbul
Ferry over the Bosphorus
A few weeks ago I visited a friend who lives in Istanbul, Turkey. A great opportunity to do some sightseeing and do some street photography. Istanbul is a wonderful place with an incredible richness and variety of culture. It’s great to see the various mosque’s inside and out, the narrow streets of the Bazaar and when the weather is nice, a trip over the Bosphorus to Asia on the ferry.
I like traveling light, so I only brought one lens, the Nikon 50mm f1.8 AF-s.
Here are some of the city’s highlights:
Sultan Ahmed Mosque or Blue Mosque interior
Imperial Hall with the throne of the sultan in the Harem of the Topkapi palace
Taksim Tunel tramway in a crowded Istiklal Avenue
