A day at the Tour de France

The second stage of the 2015 edition of the Tour de France started in Utrecht and finished in Zeeland. During this stage the riders passed some typical Dutch villages with the cliche windmills and modern water management system as background for a rainy and sunny tour of Holland. At the beginning of the stage the riders passed the village of Haastrecht, where I was waiting for the riders with my camera.

During the wait the Tour de France Publicity Caravan passed, throwing rubbish at the spectators.

Then, finally, after a couple of hours, the riders came and went, within seconds. Great to hear the cheers when the riders were approaching.

And as an automotive photographer I had to capture the best looking support car of the Tour: Team Sky Jaguar XF Sportbrake.
